Drexel Tile Quilt

This little quilt is based on some doodles—made a few years ago—of the tile in a favorite restaurant.

It came to life as a quilt in the last two weeks when we decorated for the holidays and I thought to myself “a lap quilt in red might finish this room up nicely.”

My patrons (visit my patreon page to find out more!) now have my studio notes explaining how each block is made. It’s precise but surprisingly quick!

I’m thinking a matchstick grid of quilting will work nicely here—I should do it quickly so we can enjoy this quilt!
