Medallion Quilt

I’m a great believer in continuing to take quilt classes forever, as you never know when you’ll learn something new or get sparked to start something unexpected. I learned so much from Erin Burke Harris’s class (House on Hill Road) on making medallion quilts. It was the last in-person class I took (late 2019) and had one of my favorite in-person perks…seeing a bunch of quilts up close and personal. As lovely as Erin’s quilts look in her book, they are even better to touch and and hold.

I made this quilt top in the months following the class. Without Erin’s guidance, I don’t think I would have had the ability to not plot too far ahead or to take on a huge project as my final round (those strawberries took ages!)

You can find Erin’s book on Amazon and from her publisher. I highly recommend it!

I’m digging deep on medallion quilts in my Patreon this year and would love for you to join me! Membership is just $3/month and you can drop at any time.
