Hi all!

Today I am posting with the names of the different pieces that have been/will be installed in this studio bathroom. I’m going to skip linking stuff & trust that you know how to copy/paste/google if you’re looking for these same supplies!

Next week I will post about installing the floor tiles, so let me start there. The floor tile are Armstrong® Flooring Standard Excelon Multicolor Harlequin White 12 x 12 Commercial Vinyl Composition Tile. These are cheap, easy to install, and good for a hard-working areas like my studio bathroom.

The wall tile are Daltile Glossy White Ceramic Tiles (4×4″). These are a wonderful, cheap option. They are self-spacing so they went up pretty easy. I had some trouble cutting them accurately for the corners, but I think that is down to my using the cheap tile snapper–I would rent a tile saw if I had it to do over again.

The paint colors are

  • Dark Pink: SW 6563 Rosebay
  • Light Pink: made by stirring a small quantity of Rosebay into a gallon of white paint. ( It ends up looking a lot like SW 6561 Teaberry)
  • Black: SW 6993 Black of Night

The sink is Mustee® Utilatub® 40″ x 24″ Polypropylene Floor Mount Single Bowl Utility Tub. It is on a thrifted coffee table. This sink will be used for dying fabric, so I went as big as I could!

The faucet is Hansgrohe Cento Semi-Pro Kitchen Faucet. I wanted a good quality faucet with a moveable sprayer. There is an in-line water heater for this faucet. I don’t have the details as I left this up to the plumbers to select, source, and install.

The toilet is Swiss Madison St. Tropez 1-Piece 0.8/1.28 GPF Dual Flush Elongated Toilet in White. I love the simple sides for easy cleaning. The slender profile on the toilet feels good in a room that is also a workspace for dying fabric.

The lights, not yet installed, are from MODCREATIONSTUDIO on etsy.

One tip on lights: it is easy to get the scale wrong! Before ordering these, I looked carefully at the dimensions and traced out the approximate shape in the correct size and taped them up in the room (see image below).

There’s the supplies! Join me next week for talk about tile install!
